Paradise Valley Community College is a multiple-use facility that offers testing services for college course placement (into English, reading and math classes), English as a Second Language, faculty make-up exams, program specific testing, and workforce certification.

The mission of Paradise Valley Community College (PVCC) Testing Services is to serve our students and community, and to promote academic excellence and student success and retention by providing accessible and comprehensive assessment services. The Testing Services team at PVCC is committed to maintaining academic integrity in a high quality and secure testing environment while adhering to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) professional standards and guidelines.

Course placement tests listed below are administered on a walk-in basis. Arrive at the Testing Center with sufficient time to successfully complete your test.  Specific testing times and requirements vary.

  • CELSA (English as a Second Language Placement)
  • EdReady
  • ACCUPLACER Advanced Algebra & Functions

Please note: Due to policies from our test publishers hooded garments (hoodies) are not allowed in the testing center. Please dress accordingly.
Time Limits: All tests will be collected 15 minutes before the testing center closes.
